GAJAR HALWA (Recipe)

Ingredients :
- Pinch of Saffron
- 2-3 Green Cardamom pods, crushed
- 2 cups Winter carrots, grated
- 3 cups Cow's milk
- ¼ cups Ghee 10-12 Cashew nuts, Chopped
- 10-12 Almonds, Sliver
- ¾ Cups Sugar
- Pinch of Salt
Ingredients :

- ¼ cups Ghee 10-12 Cashew nuts, Chopped
- 10-12 Almonds, Sliver
- ¾ Cups Sugar
- Pinch of Salt
Process :
- Heat ghee in a pan. Add saffron, crushed cardamom, and grated carrots. Cook until they become soft.
- Add milk and cook on low heat until all the milk evaporates.
- In another pan, add ghee, cashew nuts, and almonds. Saute until they turn golden brown.
- Add this nut mixture into the pan with carrots and mix well.
- Now, add sugar and salt, and mix. Cook for 4 minutes and then turn off the heat.
- Serve it hot or cold. 🥕🥛🍬
