GAJAR  HALWA (Recipe)

Cuisine: Indian 

 Ingredients :

  1. Pinch of Saffron 
  2. 2-3 Green Cardamom pods, crushed 
  3. 2 cups Winter carrots, grated 
  4. 3 cups Cow's milk 
  5.  ¼ cups Ghee 10-12 Cashew nuts, Chopped 
  6.  10-12 Almonds, Sliver 
  7. ¾ Cups Sugar 
  8.  Pinch of Salt


Ingredients :

  1. Pinch of Saffron 
  2. 2-3 Green Cardamom pods, crushed 
  3. 2 cups Winter carrots, grated 
  4. 3 cups Cow's milk 
  5.  ¼ cups Ghee 10-12 Cashew nuts, Chopped
  6.  10-12 Almonds, Sliver 
  7. ¾ Cups Sugar
  8.  Pinch of Salt 


Process :

  1. Heat ghee in a pan. Add saffron, crushed cardamom, and grated carrots. Cook until they become soft.
  2. Add milk and cook on low heat until all the milk evaporates.
  3. In another pan, add ghee, cashew nuts, and almonds. Saute until they turn golden brown.
  4. Add this nut mixture into the pan with carrots and mix well.
  5. Now, add sugar and salt, and mix. Cook for 4 minutes and then turn off the heat.
  6. Serve it hot or cold. 🥕🥛🍬
