ফুলকপি রোস্ট | Fulkopi Roast Recipe: Bengali Style Cauliflower Delight | Easy and Delicious!



Ingredients:


- 1 medium-sized cauliflower, cut into florets

- 1 large tomato, finely chopped

- 2-3 green chilies, finely chopped

- 1 tablespoon ginger  paste

- 1 teaspoon turmeric powder

- 1 teaspoon red chili powder (adjust according to your spice preference)

- 1 teaspoon cumin powder

- 1 teaspoon coriander powder

- 1/2 teaspoon garam masala

- Salt to taste

- Cooking oil

- Fresh coriander leaves for garnish


 Instructions:

1. Blanch the Cauliflower:

   - Boil water in a large pot and add a pinch of salt.

   - Add cauliflower florets to the boiling water and let them cook for about 3-4 minutes.

   - Drain the water and set aside the blanched cauliflower.

2. Preparation:

   - Heat oil in a pan over medium heat.

3. Add Spices:

   - Add ginger paste and sauté for a minute until the raw smell disappears.

   - Add turmeric powder, red chili powder, cumin powder, and coriander powder. Mix well.

4. Tomatoes and Cauliflower:

   - Add chopped tomatoes and green chilies. Cook until the tomatoes are soft and the oil starts to separate from the masala.

   - Add the blanched cauliflower and mix gently to coat the cauliflower with the masala.

5. Cooking:

   - Cook the cauliflower on medium heat, stirring occasionally, until it gets a nice roasted texture and the spices are well absorbed.

   - Adjust salt and spice levels according to your taste.

6. Finishing Touch:

   - Sprinkle garam masala and mix well.

   - Garnish with fresh coriander leaves.

7. Serve:

   - Transfer the Fulkopi Roast to a serving dish and serve hot with roti, naan, or rice.
